Wakelife C03 is a rechargeable LED hair growth cap with a detachable magnetic controller for private-label hair-care and scalp-care projects. Its baseball-cap format leaves the wearer’s hands free, and a 2000mAh battery powers use without a cable to a wall outlet. Charging uses USB-C.
You can review the complete specifications on the C03 product page.
A magnetic controller customers can see and handle
The round controller attaches directly to the cap through a magnetic electrical connection and can be removed as a separate component. [1]
That gives your brand a concrete feature to demonstrate before purchase: where the controls sit on the cap and how the controller connects. Customers can see the interaction for themselves in a product demonstration.
Use the cap without staying plugged in
A rechargeable 3.7V, 2000mAh polymer battery powers C03 during use. For the customer, the practical benefit is being able to use the cap without staying within reach of a wall outlet.
The cap holds the LEDs in place while worn, so the user does not need to hold a device against their scalp throughout use.
Choose the light mode and pulse setting separately
C03 uses 120 tri-chip SMD 5050 LEDs, containing 360 chips across three wavelengths. The selected mode determines which wavelengths are active.
The light modes are:
- M1: red and near-infrared light together, at 660nm and 850nm.
- M2: red light at 660nm.
- M3: blue light at 430nm.
Users can select a light mode and adjust the optional 10Hz or 40Hz pulse setting separately.
Brightness is fixed, and the timer offers 10-minute and 20-minute settings.
Explain C03’s use schedule using the instructions for the supplied configuration; the American Academy of Dermatology also advises following the directions supplied with an at-home red-light device.
When C03 belongs on your brand’s shortlist
C03 is a relevant starting point if your product brief prioritizes:
- A wearable addition to a scalp-care range: a baseball-cap format with battery-powered, hands-free use.
- A visible hardware detail to demonstrate: a round controller that connects magnetically and detaches from the cap.
- An existing platform for brand presentation: a product to evaluate alongside your logo, packaging, label, and instruction needs.
Those branding requirements can be discussed through Wakelife’s private-label service. Changes to the configuration or structure require project review.
What to look at when your sample arrives
Use these questions to assess whether the C03 sample matches your intended customer experience. Follow the instructions supplied with the sample.
| What to observe | What it means for your brand |
|---|---|
| Fit: Observe where the cap and controller sit on intended wearers; ask about pressure or difficulty reaching the controls. | Record who was assessed and clarify unresolved sizing questions with Wakelife. Use the observations to decide what fit and positioning guidance customers need. |
| Handling: Ask a first-time user to detach and reattach the magnetic controller using the supplied instructions; note any step that needs help. | Identify what the setup guide or demonstration should show. Discuss any physical handling difficulties with Wakelife before deciding on the model. |
| Controls: Ask the user to explain the three light modes, independent pulse option and two timer settings using the supplied instructions. | Check that light modes and pulse settings are distinguished. Clarify any confusing wording or demonstrations and check understanding again. |
Bring these observations to the sample discussion alongside your logo, packaging, label, and instruction requirements.
C03 samples are available, and Wakelife is accepting orders. Share your target market, sales channel, and branding needs to request a sample and discuss the product your team wants to offer.
